A New Era for Medical Education – The Anatomage Table

Noble Vision GroupA New Era for Medical Education - The Anatomage Table

In a recently released TED Talk, Jack Choi, owner of the medical imaging software company, Anatomage, demonstrates one of the most advanced medical education tools on the market.

We’ve seen plenty of educational tablet apps in the medical field, but the Anatomage Table takes medical touchscreen technology to a new level.

The Anatomage Table is a life-sized touch screen anatomy visualization table. It allows users to view and interact with realistic 3D models of the human body, offering detailed visualizations of every aspect of human anatomy.

The Table’s touchscreen technology is an intuitive way to help students understand surgical procedures, review cases, or educate patients, as any radiology scan can be uploaded to the Table for 3D interactive visualization. You can even upload 3D images of medical devices, allowing medical device manufacturers to demonstrate exactly how their product works.

    Dr. Dagher,

According to the Anatomage website, it is possible to simulate pathologies and upload MRI and CT scans. However, it is not clear how detailed their model of the eye is. You can contact Anatomage at info@anatomage.com for more info.
If you are looking for an iPad app with a detailed interactive eye model, I would recommend looking into Orca Health’s EyeDecide MD. We have a post on it here: http://www.noblevisiongroup.com/technology/more-apps-for-eye-care-orca-healths-eyedecide-md

    Hope this helps

I believe the Anatomage Table is an independent tablet device–the software is only available with the device. For pricing info, you can contact Anatomage at info@anatomage.com.

I was at your stall last years RSNA conference. I am HOD of Radiology in QAMC, College, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. I want to know how much it will cost us Anatomage, Radiology related anatomy for my trainee PGR in Radiology. Do you have any vender for your product in Pakistan. How you can supply us with after sale service and future up gradation. We are going to have our annual Radiology conference in Rawalpindi, on 8, 9 and 10. You could display your stall either yourself or with collaboration with GE, who have their representative in Pakistan. Their is good scope for sale of your Anatomage. Looking forward to your reply.
