EUGENE, Oregon (February 25, 2010) – Noble Vision Group, a research and development organization today announced the availability of the P. Koch Pars Plana Marker. The specially designed pars plana marker is intended to quickly and reproducibly measure the distance from the limbus prior to making incisions or administering injections.
Dr. Paul Koch commented: “This pars plana marker locates 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm from the limbus, so 3.5 mm is right between them. I use it when I inject Avastin, at cataract surgery and for placing my vitrectomy incisions when I use the posterior approach.”
Noble Vision Group President and CEO Patrick H. Witham stated: “We are fortunate to have such a strong collaborative relationship with Dr. Koch. It is his unprecedented level of expertise that continues to facilitate great innovation and advancement in this area of medicine. “
